A Convocation Experience

Like so many graduates in 1964, I was the first iny my family to do so. Professor Frye was the star at the end of the receiving line for graduates of Vic. As my parents and I approached him, I realized that professor Frye was addressing the nervous parents in Gibberish with a glazed expression on his face. I nudged my father. My father picked up on it immediately when Professor Frye addressed my father in Gibberish, my father responded in Gibberish.
