Where: Victoria College Chapel and E.J. Pratt Library.

About: Join us as we mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 30 with a keynote and exhibition exploring "Past, Present and Future."

Shane Joy Vic 2T5 will deliver the keynote lecture, “Love Them as Mine Own People,” tracing Egerton Ryerson’s shifting views on Indigenous education. After the lecture, librarians will discuss a new exhibit at E.J. Pratt Library featuring Victoria University's earliest Indigenous students, student-led research and archival materials, including James Evans’s Cree syllabic type. Guests are also invited to the E.J. Pratt Library to see the exhibit.
