"The Vari Scholarship changed my life. Throughout high school, I dreamed of coming to the University of Toronto and becoming a teacher. I would never have been able to afford to do this without help. This scholarship made it possible for me to follow my dream. I am now in my fourth year of teaching. I work at an inner-city TDSB school whose students desperately need a quality education and dedicated teachers. The Vari Scholarship not only made my own education possible, it is now continuing to support learning for some of Toronto's most at-risk students."
