Class of vic 6T3

Dear fellow member of VIC 6T3:

Believe it or not, 2013 marks 50 years since our graduation from Victoria College! On behalf of the Class, it’s our pleasure to invite you to return to Victoria College to celebrate our 50th Anniversary Reunion. As we are one of the honoured years for Spring Reunion 2013, Thursday, May 30 - Sunday, June 2, this is our chance to see the campus and visit with one another after all this time. I’m sure we all have fond memories of our time at Vic, whether they be of the Bob Revue, the Music Club productions, the V.C.U. and bridge in the Coffee Shop, or lining up for books and carrels in the various Vic Libraries.

For most of us, the three or four years which we spent as undergraduate students at Victoria College were the finest and most formative times of our lives. Perhaps some of you have some SPECIAL memories which you would be willing to share with us, either in person, or in writing (if you won’t be able to be present). Now it’s time to return and give one more cheer for “The Old Ontario Strand”.

To commemorate this special milestone, we will be celebrating with a dinner on Saturday, June 1 in Alumni Hall. Enclosed are some of the events we have planned especially for 6T3 classmates and friends:

Saturday, June 1, 2013 (Click here to register now for all Spring Reunion events)
4:00 p.m. Tour of the Vic Campus
Assemble in the A.B.B. Moore Foyer. Visit the Goldring Student Centre, E.J. Pratt Library, Lester B. Pearson Garden for Peace and Understanding, Annesley Hall, Isabel Bader Theatre, and Burwash Hall.

6:00 p.m. Reception in the A.B.B. Moore Foyer (Old Vic)
Exchange memories with old friends and classmates, and view memorabilia displays. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

7:00 p.m. Celebratory Dinner in Alumni Hall

The cost is $50 per person, and includes dinner, wine, gratuities and taxes. Following dinner, Professor Paul W. Gooch, President of Victoria University, will highlight a few of the changes at Vic in recent years, plus plans for the future.

To register, please fill out and return the enclosed Vic Class of 6T3 registration form, or you can register online. A brochure is enclosed with information on Vic events during the weekend open to all honoured years.

This is a great opportunity to connect with your friends from university days. Spouses, partners and guests are welcome to join in the celebrations. We will also invite grads from 6T2 and 6T4 to join us. If you are unable to attend, please provide us with any news you would like to share with your classmates from 6T3. These messages will be on display along with other Vic 6T3 memorabilia.

Missing Classmates
Included in this mailing is a list of 6T3 grads for whom Vic does not have a current address. If you can provide updated information for any of them, please inform the Alumni Office at vic.alumni@utoronto.ca, (416) 585-4500, or 1-(888)-262-9775. A package will be sent to them immediately, so that they will have the opportunity to join us at our celebration.
