Statement of Welcome
A STATEMENT OF WELCOME TO THOSE WITH DISABILITIES
Victoria University in the University of Toronto is a diverse community of students, academics, administrators, alumni and support staff. We have a tradition of welcoming those with varied backgrounds and skills and of treating them fairly and equitably. We welcome all those who can profit from and contribute to the life and work of Victoria University.
To this end, we will do our best to provide an environment, facilities, resources and services that will permit those with disabilities to aspire to their full potential while being active and creative members of the Victoria community. We also undertake to increase the awareness of all members of the community toward those with disabilities.
In working to meet these goals, we will regularly review our policies and procedures, our information and communication, our physical facilities, our information technology, our instructional design and our members’ experiences.
