J.E. Hodgetts Vic4T8 is appointed President of Victoria University.
Emmanuel College becomes a partner in the Toronto School of Theology.

1971

John M. Robson is appointed Principal of Victoria College.

1972

William O. Fennell Vic 3T9, Emm 4T2 is appointed Principal of Emmanuel College.

1973

Goldwin S. French Vic 4T4 is appointed President of Victoria University. The Ontario Historical Studies Series, under his General Editorship, is published at Victoria.

1974

Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Toronto and the colleges.
The Bob Revue celebrates its 100th anniversary.

1976

Gordon L. Keyes Vic 4T1 is appointed Principal of Victoria College.

1978
Northrop Frye Vic 3T3, Emm 3T6 is appointed Chancellor of Victoria University. Toronto School of Theology, its member colleges and the University of Toronto sign a Memorandum of Agreement whereby their regular degrees are conjointly awarded.

1979
Publication of the first volumes in the Records of Early English Drama under the General Editorship of Alexandra F. Johnston Vic 6T1.
